My Christmas Vacation

My family came to see me in Japan. yay! We spent a few nights in Takeo and Charlotte came to work with me. Then we went to Nara and Kyoto (Japan's ancient capitals and near where I studied abroad in college). Then a few nights in Toyko and then Dad, David and Charlotte flew home, while Mom and I continued on to Vietnam for 10 days. We started in Hanoi, with a side trip to Halong Bay. Then went to Hue (the old capital), Hoi An (an old port town with good shopping), Dalat (in the mountains), and finished up in Saigon.
