my attempt at a post-election discussion with 10 year old elementary school students

me: "who won the election?"
boy: "The White House!"

me: "who do you like better, Bush or Kerry?'
boy: "Bush"
me: "why?"
boy: "he's handsome"

boy: "Ohio!" (as I started drawing a map of the US)

me: "do you have any questions about the election?'
boy: "yes, what kind of juice is that?"
me: "um, it was white grape juice, but now it's filled with water. Any other questions about the election?"
another boy: "where did you buy that juice?"
