my first trip

not much was going on in my town, since the schools are on summer vacation still. so, I took a long weekend and went to the Island of Shikoku, the smallest of the 4 major islands in Japan. I took an overnight boat from Kyushu, went sightseeing in the cities Matsuyama and Takamatsu, and went to various little islands to go swimming in the Inland Sea (a gorgeous island-studded sea between Shikoku and the main Island of Honshu). It was very beautiful and relaxing and a nice relief from the heat that all of Japan is suffering from. The photos below are from the trip, and generally go in order from bottom to top. Enjoy!
