Here's Miko watching her first snow storm from my bedroom windowsill.

It was the 2nd biggest snow storm in NY history. NY1.com says at least 24 ".
People were skiing in the streets.

The Financial District looked so peaceful covered in a blanket of snow. With all the historic buildings it felt like a scene from the book Time and Again. I almost expected a horse-drawn sleigh to pass by.

I'm having a very introspective month. I'm trying to concentrate on myself, my therapy, my career etc. And things are slowly coming together and getting better. I'm in the process of getting my Real Estate License. We'll see where that takes me. And I'm getting weekly acupuncture. It's so relaxing and I think it's really helping me mentally and physically. The woman who does it is really nice. She lived in Japan for a few years and said it was totally normal for me to feel depressed, both in Japan and after I moved back. It's a hard adjustment on both ends. It was nice to talk to someone who really understands what I experienced, because no one else in my NY life really can. Kinda a strange and isolating feeling.
